7 Roaring Fork Valley athletes named to Stifel U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team

The U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team has officially announced its 2025-26 Stifel team rosters, and the Roaring Fork Valley is once again making its mark on the national stage.
Seven athletes from the region earned coveted spots on this year’s team, showcasing the valley’s deep ties to elite snowsports, the support of the Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club along with the legacy of world-class talent.
Among the notable names is Alex Ferreira, a two-time Olympic medalist and Aspen native, who continues to represent the U.S. at the highest level in men’s halfpipe skiing. Known for his powerful amplitude and precise style, Ferreira remains one of the most consistent and charismatic figures in freestyle skiing.
Joining Ferreira on the halfpipe roster is Tristan Feinberg, another Aspen local who has steadily risen through the ranks with strong performances on the World Cup circuit and at national events. Feinberg’s inclusion on the team reinforces his status as a top-tier competitor with an exciting future.
Also earning a place on the team is Hanna Faulhaber of Basalt, a standout athlete in women’s halfpipe. Faulhaber has already competed on Olympic and World Cup stages.
For the men’s ski halfpipe rookie team, Carbondale’s Nick Geiser and Eugene Kai Morris were named to the Stifel U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team. Geiser has a 2023 win at a NorAm Cup in Calgary. Earning his spot, Morris had four, top-five finishes in the NorAm World Cup.
Aspen native Bridger Gile was nominated to the 2025-26 Stifel U.S. Alpine B Team, after a solid season when he scored his first-ever World Cup points (24th) in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia. Gile also competed in the 2025 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Austria, where he finished 20th in giant slalom.
Kate Oldham of Carbondale was nominated as a B Team member of the U.S. Cross Country Ski Team. Oldham made her World Cup debut last season and put down several top 30 finishes. She also competed in the World Championships last winter.

New non-stop flight coming to Aspen in December
Starting in mid-December and running through early April, people will be able to fly the longest nonstop flight into Aspen from Charlotte, North Carolina.
