Katherine Tomanek graduated from Colorado Mesa University’s English department in spring of 2023 and joined the Post Independent that same fall as a reporter.
A love for writing began when her mom held “secret” Reading Clubs with her, and Katherine decided to try writing her own pieces. She worked for the student publications of CMU: the Horizon Magazine, Literary Review, and Pinyon, and is in the process of writing her own novel.
