Grace West joined The Aspen Times as a multimedia reporter in 2026, where she covers the city of Aspen and town of Basalt. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2026 where she she studied rhetoric and journalism and did a semester abroad in Barcelona. She is excited to escape the Texas humidity and appreciate all that the valley has to offer.
When she’s not writing, you can expect her to be needlepointing or watching movies and musicals at the theater.
