David Krause was named editor of The Aspen Times in January 2017. Before coming to The Times, David worked for nearly 17 years at The Denver Post, first in sports then as a news editor. He also worked at the Loveland Reporter-Herald in the 1990s and is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and St. Gregory’s College. His first paid story was covering a high school football game in 1982 for a twice-weekly newspaper in Bethany, Oklahoma.
