Gleason: Thanks to those who made Aspen’s Ski Swap a success

I would like to express my gratitude to all who made the 70th Annual Aspen Ski Swap a success on Oct. 25. This event is a 100% volunteer effort, with proceeds benefiting the Outdoor and Experiential Education programs at Aspen Elementary School, Aspen Middle School, Aspen High School, and Aspen Community School. Many community members contributed to the swap, from Casey Ward and his setup crew on Friday, to volunteer cashiers from Alpine Bank, Reese Henry and the volunteer accounting team, Bennett Bramson and his attentive security team recruits, school staff members from all four schools, AHS students, our vendors, folks who brought gear to sell, and, of course, the shoppers that make the event happen! Aspen has an amazing community, and I am grateful to be a part of it. Thank you again, and we look forward to seeing you next year!
