Clapper: Let’s get the airport done

Pitkin County Ballot Question 1A is NOT a tax nor does it increase an existing tax.

Plain and simple … approving this question allows the county to issue bonds in order to fund the modernization of the Aspen Pitkin County Airport. In other words, it allows the Board of County Commissioners to do what 67% of the voters approved last November. That being, to move forward with modernizing the airport, a new and improved runway, terminal, and multi-modal center.

So please vote “yes” on 1A, and let’s get the airport done!
