Mary Lou’s takes over Aspen’s Bad Harriet
The hospitality concept makes its snowside debut at Hotel Jerome

Making its Aspen debut, Mary Lou’s will take over Bad Harriet at Hotel Jerome Feb. 20-21, with music curation by DJ duo Sofi Tukker.
Live entertainment features maesic Friday, Feb. 20, and DJ duo Beachcrimes Saturday, Feb. 21.
Aimed to cater to the après‑ski crowd, the two-day pop-up brings Mary Lou’s Studio 54 supper club energy to the Rockies during the Palm Tree Festival weekend.
“Aspen has been on our radar since the inception of Mary Lou’s. It’s a market that naturally aligns with our community,” Co-Founder and CEO of Mama Hospitality Alex Melillo said.
The menu spotlights signature craft cocktails, including specials like “Espress Yourself” and “Daddy’s Girl,” plus a curated selection of Mary Lou’s classics, such as a Big Mac-style burger and chicken nuggets with caviar.
Fresh off its one-year anniversary opening in Palm Beach, Mary Lou’s continues to build a cultural cachet for its opulent design and theatrical supper club pizzazz, along with live entertainment. Previous Mary Lou’s pop-ups have appeared in Palm Beach and the Hamptons.
Bad Harriet will be reimagined as an intimate, immersive speakeasy with playful luxury, subtle theatrics, and the brand’s signature sense of ridiculousness inspired by the bar’s namesake and legendary figure in Palm Beach society, Mary Lou Curtis, according to Co-Founder Joe Cervasio.
“Because it’s such an intimate space, these two nights are incredibly exclusive. We’re intentionally keeping it small, so the energy feels concentrated, the kind of room where you look around and realize every single person was meant to be there,” Co-Founder Topher Grubb told The Aspen Times.
