Update: Highway 82 eastbound lanes reopen after crash

UPDATE, 11:27 a.m.: — Colorado Highway 82 eastbound lanes have reopened following crash in front of Home Team BBQ shortly before 10 a.m., according to a Pitkin County alert.

At the time of the crash, motorists were encouraged to use McClain Flats Road to bypass the area until the road reopened.

“Traffic can now stop being diverted to McClain Flats Road,” the alert states. “Please continue to use caution when driving in the area.”
