Early in-person voting for the 2025 Coordinated Election begins Monday, Oct. 27, Pitkin County has announced.
The voting will take place at the Pitkin County Administration Building, 530 East Main Street, in Aspen. Registered voters will be able to cast their ballot in person, replace a ballot, or register to vote on-site during regular business hours, according to a press release. This is the only polling center available for the Coordinated Election.
The public is also invited to the second annual “Vote-A-Rama” event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, also at the Pitkin County Administration Building.
“We’re excited to bring Vote-A-Rama back for a second year,” said Pitkin County Clerk and Recorder Ingrid K. Grueter in the release. “It’s a great way for people to vote early, connect with their community, and learn more about how we ensure secure and transparent elections.”

Vote-A-Rama will offer light refreshments from Paradise Bakery and a “relaxed, welcoming atmosphere,” turning early voting into a celebration of civic participation. Grueter will be available from 10 a.m. to noon to answer questions about the voting process.
“Chairs of both the Pitkin County Democratic and Republican parties are also expected to attend the event, underscoring the nonpartisan, community-wide commitment to accessible elections,” the press release states.
Ballots have already been mailed to registered votes, and drop boxes are available at three locations:
- Pitkin County Administration Building, 530 E. Main Street, Aspen
- Snowmass Village Town Hall, 130 Kearns Road, Snowmass Village
- Basalt Town Hall, 101 Midland Avenue, Basalt
There is no drop box in Redstone for this election.
Voters are encouraged to take advantage of early voting and drop boxes to avoid last-minute lines ahead of Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 4. Sample ballots and ballot tracking are available at pitkinvotes.com.
