Aspen Valley Health’s first baby of the year was born Saturday, Jan. 3, a little boy named Bastian.
Gisela Orellana and Christian Irehata are the proud parents, according to a press release from AVH, who first met at a family New Year’s celebration.
Bastian joined the world at 7:02 p.m.
“Congratulations, and welcome to our newest community member!” the press release reads.
His name, according to the release, was chosen because his dad is a soccer fan and was inspired by a famous player.
Bastian is the couple’s third child, joining his two older brothers, Christopher (left) and Abraham (right).
“Grateful for the care and support they received, the family is excited to begin this next chapter and celebrate their new arrival,” the release states.
