TV preview Saturday for Aspen Winter X

ABC television will present a preview of the Winter X Games in Aspen today.

The one-hour telecast, “The World of X Games,” is scheduled for 1 p.m. Aspen time on most ABC affiliates, although some ABC stations are planning to show the program at 2 p.m. Aspen time today.

The show will highlight the upcoming Winter X Games, scheduled to start Wednesday night at Buttermilk Mountain. The Winter X Games will run through Sunday, Jan. 25.

The preview show will examine the lineup of musical acts as well as the top competitors scheduled to compete.

Featured athletes include seven-time Winter X Games snowmobile medalist Levi LaVallee, Winter X Games Snowboard Slopestyle bronze medalist Gus Kenworthy, Sochi Olympic Snowboard Slopestyle gold medalist Sage Kotsenburg, Winter X Mono Skier X gold medalist Josh Dueck and Snowboard Superpipe phenom Chloe Kim, age 14.
