Rugby: Gents to host Steamboat Saturday
Rugby will return to downtown Aspen on Saturday afternoon.
The full-side Gentlemen of Aspen will host Steamboat Springs in a game at Wagner Park.
A special 2 p.m. kickoff time is set.
“Steamboat’s pretty good this year,” said John Staub, president of the Gentlemen of Aspen. “It should be a tough game.”
The Gents are coming off a big win over the Denver Barbarians on July 5 at Wagner Park. Earlier, the Gents full side knocked off the Defiance club from Glenwood Springs.
Staub said the Gents invite the public to watch Saturday’s rugby game at Wagner Park. Refreshments will be available.
There is no admission.
