Ranch at Roaring Fork records aces

Aces, aces, aces. And more aces.

Three aces were reported recently at the Ranch at Roaring Fork golf course just outside Carbondale.

Michael Teschner aced the 132-yard No. 1 hole with a 9-iron. His hole-in-one was witnessed by Jimmy White.

Michael Wheelersburg also had an ace at Ranch at Roaring Fork. He aced the 164-yard No. 2 hole. He used a 5-iron for his ace.

His shot was witnessed by Tom Vail.

Also, Sean Kiuttu collected a hole-in-one on the eighth hole at Ranch at Roaring Fork. He aced the hole from 59 yards with a pitching wedge.

Two Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteer projects are scheduled to assist with finish work, rock armoring and seeding of disturbed areas, according Ted O’Brien, manager of Pitkin County Open Space and Trails Resource and Trails. The events will be led in collaboration with Open Space and Trails and the Roaring Fork Mountain Biking Association.
