Aspen golf takes fifth at state tournament
The second and final day of the Class 3A state tournament wasn’t nearly as kind as the first for the Aspen High School boys golf team. The Skiers entered the day in third after shooting a first-day score of 234, but settled for a fifth-place finish with a second-day score of 244 to shoot 478 for the tournament, held at Saddle Rock Golf Course in Aurora.
