Hockey: Boulder visits Aspen

Full-check adult men’s hockey will return to Aspen today and Saturday.
The Aspen Leafs men’s hockey team will host Boulder in a pair of nonleague games at the Lewis Ice Arena at the Aspen Recreation Center (ARC).
The Aspen Leafs play in a Senior A minor full-check league with teams in Colorado and throughout the western United States.
They Leafs are members of the Mountain West Hockey League.
The Aspen Leafs are 1-3 on the season after a split of their last two games.
The Aspen Leafs spit the league doubleheader against Salt Lake City in their last outings.
The public is invited to the tonight’s game, set for an 8:15 p.m. and Saturday night’s contest, set for a 7 p.m. start.

Nina O’Brien added to her career nationals haul and Laurenne Ross made her victory lap as the U.S. Alpine Championships got back to racing with the women’s super-G on Tuesday at Aspen Highlands.
