The Moffat County girls basketball team showcased its pressure, full-court defense Friday night.

Oh, and the Bulldogs also flexed their offensive muscles.

The Moffat County girls, holding the Aspen Skiers scoreless for the first quarter, pressed to a 77-17 victory Friday night at the AHS gym.

Leah Camilletti led the balanced Bulldogs with a game-high 26 points, including 10 in the third quarter.

Katelyn Peroulis, with two 3-pointers, added 12 as the Moffat County girls improved to 6-1 in the Western Slope League, 8-4 overall.

Kayla Pinnt, Josey King and Morgan Lawton added 10 points each for the Bulldogs.

McKenna Woodrow led the Aspen girls with seven points, all in the second half.

Claire Boronski added four for the Skiers, 1-5 in league, 1-10 overall.

The Bulldogs pushed the lead to 34-0 before Jess Coxon scored Aspen’s first basket on a jumper late in the first half.

The high-scoring visitors from Craig posted 24 points in the third quarter.

Aspen rallied with 11 points in the final period, including five from Woodrow.

The Skiers will return to action today when they host Roaring Fork at 2:30 p.m. in another Western Slope League game.
