Banked slalom snowboard race set for Saturday on Snowmass
The fourth annual Aspen-Snowmass banked slalom snowboard race is scheduled for Saturday at Snowmass Mountain. Registration is $35 and needs to be done online at http://www.aspensnowmass.com. There is no day-of or in-person registration. The deadline to sign up is Friday at midnight.
Check in is scheduled to take place from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Snowmass Mall Ticket Pavilion, with races set to start at 10:30 a.m. The awards ceremony is expected to start around 2 p.m.
This year’s course is located near Garrett Gulch on Snowmass, accessed via the Sheer Bliss chairlift.
