Aspen Yacht Club crowns champs

The 45th annual Aspen Yacht Club Regatta attracted more than 45 boats and crew members from all around Colorado last weekend.
The racing was held on Saturday at Sunday at Ruedi Reservoir.
Sailing conditions were prime with winds allowing seven races.

2nd – Aaron Smith – Woody Creek

PHRF Fleet
1st – Bruce Upton (J24) – Basalt
2nd – Alan Rowe (Andrews 26) – Evergreen

Portsmouth Fleet
1st – Stephen Eckert (Sunfish) – Boulder
2nd – Allen Buttner (Sunfish) – Eagle
3rd – Robert Stoller (Lightning) – Boulder
Steamboat’s Nolting wins Longhorns Invite golf tourney; Aspen’s Miller takes second
Winning the Longhorns Invite on Tuesday in Carbondale was Steamboat Springs senior Jeremy Nolting, with a 2-over-par score of 74. Aspen High School senior Carson Miller was second overall with a score of 75.
