The synchronized skiers are back.

The 15th annual Aspen World Synchro Ski Championships will be held Saturday and Sunday at Aspen Mountain.

The event features international and national ski schools as they showcase their skills in synchronized skiing, racing and mogul skiing.

This year, a total of eight teams are scheduled to compete in the two-day event, including five teams representing the Ski and Snowboard Schools of Aspen/Snowmass.

The Aspen Demo Team will compete along with three all-women’s teams (Aspen Team Diva, Diva-ettes and Diva-lution). The new Argenteam also will compete.

On Saturday, racing begins on the NASTAR course starting at 10:15 a.m.

The bumps competition will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday on Sunset or Sunrise.

On Sunday, the teams will compete in four passes of synchronized skiing starting at 10:30 a.m. The team synchro skiing will be held on North American with the deck at Bonnie’s serving as the event headquarters.

Last year, Aspen Team Diva rose to the top to win the Aspen World Synchro Ski Championships — the first title in the 18-year history of the team.

This year’s event is organized by Kelly Beairsto and Aspen Team Diva, defending their 2014 title.

The public is invited to watch the racing, bump skiing and the featured synchro ski events.
