The Aspen High School girls lacrosse team will take its record on the road Saturday for a game at Kent Denver.

The Skiers (10-2 overall, 6-1 in conference) are coming off a big 17-8 victory over visiting Summit High School on Wednesday night at Aspen School District Stadium.

The win returned the Aspen girls to the win column after an agonizing 15-14 overtime loss to Fruita Monument last week.

The Skiers will have two remaining league games after Saturday’s trip to the Front Range.

The Aspen girls will play at Eagle Valley on Wednesday.

They will close the regular season at Steamboat Springs on May 2.

Fruita Monument, at 12-1 overall, leads the Mountain League standings. Aspen and Grand Junction each have one conference loss.
