Friday night lights will be back on tonight.

The Aspen High School football team will host Steamboat Springs at 7 p.m. today at Aspen School District Stadium.

Steamboat Springs (0-1) opened the season last weekend with a game at rival Moffat County in Craig. The Sailors fell 27-0 to the Bulldogs.

The Skiers will play one more game next weekend at Cedaredge before an off-week on Sept. 25 for experiential education

Center, located in the center of the San Luis Valley, defeated Salida 48-19 last weekend.

The Basalt football team will hit the road to Eagle Valley next weekend. The Longhorns will host Grand Valley on Sept. 25 before opening the conference season Oct. 2 at Coal Ridge in New Castle.
