Aspen baseball rolls over Grand Valley behind Clayton’s 2-hitter
The Aspen High School baseball team snapped a six-game skid Thursday with a 13-0 win over Grand Valley in Parachute.
Junior Tyler Clayton pitched all five innings for the Skiers, allowing only two hits while striking out seven batters. Tom Rybak, Sam Dresser and Clayton each had a team-high two hits and two runs batted in for AHS.
Aspen, now 6-11 overall, will close out its regular season with a doubleheader on Saturday against visiting Moffat County at Crawford Field in El Jebel. Game times are 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
