Town of Snowmass hires human resources director
The town of Snowmass Village has hired Kathy Fry to assume the position of human resources director.
Fry, a human resources director at Design Workshop in Aspen, will begin her new role with the town Feb. 13, according to Travis Elliott, Snowmass assistant to the town manager.
In a weekly update to the mayor and Town Council, Snowmass Town Manager Clint Kinney described Fry’s credentials as “outstanding.”
“Were excited to have her and have this new position. It will be great for the organization,” Kinney said to the Snowmass Sun. “With a staff of well over 100 full-time employees, this is going to help us continue to do really great work.”
Fry will serve as the town’s first human resources director, added Kinney, noting that the Snowmass Town Council accounted for the position in its 2017 budget.
Snowmass Village retailers combined to generate $2.2 million in revenue in July, which translated to $247,891 in sales tax collections for the town’s general fund, according to the latest tax report available.
