Snowmass part-time residents advisory board to host volunteer project Aug. 8
The part-time residents advisory board, in conjunction with the town of Snowmass, is organizing a volunteer project Aug. 8 from 9 a.m. to noon. The task is to stain benches and wood rails along the Melton Ranch trail up to and including a portion of Brush Creek Trail. Anyone who wants to volunteer should meet at Town Park near the entrance to Recreation Center, where transportation will be provided to the trail. Organizers also will have sunscreen available and a free lunch will be provided at noon. The board recommends volunteers wear clothes and shoes that may get stained.
