Snowmass Sun

The Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District will teach hands-only CPR for free from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 22 in Base Village. The session will also include training in the use of an automatic external defibrillator. Firefighters also will be disseminating information about wildfire preparedness.

During that time, the department will also have a child car seat inspection station in the parking lot at the Treehouse Kids Adventure Center. Approximately 75 percent of all carseats are installed improperly, according to a statement.
