Snowmass firefighters receive commendation

Six Snowmass-Wildcat Fire Protection District firefighters receive a commendation from board president Bill Boineau for their assistance in extricating the victims of a plane crash at Aspen Pitkin County Airport on Jan. 5. One person died and two were injured in the crash. The crew members recognized were Paul Blangsted, Terry Cox, Andy Fisher, Ryan Griffin, Andrew Atkinson and Captain Scott Arthur.
