Snowmass fire calls: Feb. 16 to Feb. 22

The Snowmass-Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following emergency calls from Feb. 16 to Feb 22.

FEB. 16

Medical call at 16 Kearns Road Unit 114 for a person who had fallen and hit his/her head on the outside stairs and was bleeding. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Medical call at 105 Daly Lane, the Snowmass Clinic, for a person suffering from multi-systems trauma. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Medical call at the Timbers Club ski patrol pick-up location for a person suffering from a lower leg injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Fire call at a home on Two Creeks Drive for a strong smell of gas. Black Hills Energy was notified and we stayed on scene until they arrived. We were unable to find the source. The home was turned over to Black Hills Energy when they arrived.

Medical call at 105 Daly Lane, the Snowmass Clinic, for a person suffering from a lower leg fracture. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Medical call at 100 Elbert Lane, the Ranger Station, for a person who was suffering from butt pain after falling approximately 50 feet while skiing. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Medical call at 105 Burlingame Lane, the Shadowbrook Condominiums, for a person who had fallen and hit their head. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Fire alarm at a home on Antler Ridge Lane. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

Mutual aid requested by Aspen Ambulance for a medical call on Park Avenue in Aspen for a person who had fallen down stairs. One person was evaluated and refused transportation to the hospital.

Fire alarm at 640 Carriage Way, the Laurelwood Condominiums. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

FEB. 17

Medical call at 105 Daly Lane, the Snowmass Clinic, for a person suffering from a right wrist fracture. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Medical call at 105 Daly Lane, the Snowmass Clinic, for a person suffering from a fast heartbeat and shortness of breath. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Medical call at 40 Elbert Lane, the Wildwood Lodge, for a person who had recently had an operation and was feeling sick with breathing issues. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Medical call at a home on Brush Creek Lane for a welfare check on a person who was having difficulty speaking and had fainted. One person was evaluated and refused transportation to the hospital. The person went to the hospital on his own.

Fire alarm at 400 Wood Road, the Crestwood Condominiums. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

Medical call at 239 Snowmass Club Circle, the Snowmass Club, for a person suffering from chest pain. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Medical call at 130 Wood Road for a person who had been assaulted. One person was evaluated and refused transportation to the hospital.

Fire alarm at 36 Commons Circle, the Commons employee housing complex. The alarm system was activated by an unknown smoke condition.

Mutual aid to Aspen Ambulance for a medical call at a home on Free Silver Court with a person suffering from chest pain. Our response was canceled.

Medical call at 100 Elbert Lane, the Westin Hotel, for a person who was combative. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Medical call at 105 Daly Lane, the Snowmass Clinic, for a person suffering from a rapid heart rate and shortness of breath. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Medical call at 105 Daly Lane, the Snowmass Clinic, for a person suffering from a possible femur fracture. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.
