Snowmass fire calls, Aug. 4-10

The Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following calls from Aug. 4 through 10.

Aug. 4

Fire alarm at a home on Timber Ridge Lane. The alarm was activated by shower steam.

Aug. 5

Citizen assist at 5131 Owl Creek Road to help with a carbon monoxide detector.

Aug. 6

Fire call to the intersection of Deer Ridge and Faraway Roads for a report of smoke. Nothing was found.

Mutual aid requested by Aspen Ambulance District to stand by for additional medical calls.

Fire alarm at a home on Ridge Wildcat Drive. No cause for the alarm could be found.

Citizen assist at a home on Lower Woodbridge Road. A smoke detector was chirping because of a low battery. The battery was replaced.

Aug. 7

Fire alarm at a home on Maple Ridge Lane. The alarm was activated by shower steam.

Aug. 9

Fire alarm at 400 Wood Road, The Crestwood condominiums. The alarm was activated by a system malfunction. The alarm company was contacted about the issue.

Medical call to 120 Carriage Way for a person suffering from a shoulder injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Fire alarm at a home on Bridge Lane. The alarm was activated when the batteries were being replaced.

Medical call to 100 Elbert Lane, the Westin Snowmass, for a guest who had passed out in the lobby. One patient was evaluated at the scene and refused transportation to the hospital.

Aug. 10

Medical call to 40 Carriage Way, the bottom of Snowmass ski area, for a person suffering from right shoulder pain. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to 40 Village Bound Road the Woodrun V condominiums, for a person suffering from an allergic reaction. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to a home on Brush Creek Road for a person who was intoxicated. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.
