Snowmass fire calls

Staff report

The Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following calls between April 30 and May 11.

April 30:

• Automatic fire alarm at 70 Commons Circle. The cause of the alarm was cooking smoke.

• Automatic fire alarm at 400 Wood Road, the Crestwood. The cause of the alarm was construction dust.

• Medical call to 70 Commons Circle for a possible overdose. The response was canceled by the Snowmass Village Police Department.

May 1:

• Automatic fire alarm at the Crestwood Condos, Unit 2210. The cause of the alarm was construction dust.

May 2:

• Automatic fire alarm at 115 Daly Lane. The cause of the alarm was the accidental activation of a pull station.

• Medical call to 50 Jack Gredig Lane for three people complaining of carbon-monoxide-poisoning-like symptoms. Three patients were assessed and released. No carbon monoxide was found.

• Automatic fire alarm at 3904 Brush Creek Road. The cause of the alarm was property management changing batteries in the system.

May 3:

• Automatic fire alarm at the Crestwood. The cause of the alarm was construction dust.

• Automatic fire alarm at 70 Commons Circle. The cause of the alarm was a cooking error.

May 4:

• Fire call to 450 Terrace Drive for a possible structure fire. Nothing was found at the scene.

May 5:

• Medical call to 153 Meadow Ranch Road for a person feeling faint. One patient was evaluated but refused treatment and transportation to the hospital.

• Automatic fire alarm at 1592 Faraway Road. The cause of the alarm was a cooking error.

May 6:

• Automatic fire alarm at 71 North Ridge Lane. The cause of the alarm was workers on site working on the alarm system.

• Citizen assist at 71 North Ridge Lane for help locating an electrical sound coming from the building.

May 7:

• Automatic fire alarm at 150 Carriage Way, Unit 4. The cause of the alarm was a cooking error.

May 9:

• Automatic fire alarm at the Crestwood. The cause of the alarm was construction dust.

• Automatic fire alarm at 476 Wood Road. The cause of the alarm was steam from carpet cleaning.

• Automatic fire alarm at 35 Lower Woodbridge Road. No cause for the alarm could be found.

• Automatic fire alarm at the Crestwood. No cause for the alarm could be found.

May 10:

• Automatic fire alarm at 96 Elk Ridge Lane. The cause of the alarm was cleaning steam.

May 11:

• Medical call to 101 Slopeside Lane for a person who was injured during a fall. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.
