Snowmass-based property management company acquired by national firm
A Snowmass Village-based property management company has been acquired by a national company.
First Choice Properties, which opened its offices in the Snowmass Center in 1978, has signed agreements with WesternTrust, a national boutique equity investment firm, the buyer announced May 5.
WesternTrust aims to expand its hospitality collection with current locations in Park City, Utah; Jackson Hole, Wyoming; Whistler, British Columbia; and Mont Tremblant, Quebec, according to a statement. First Choice manages properties in the Aspen/Snowmass area and also has an office in Glenwood Springs.
“This is very exciting for all of us at First Choice and for all the owners and guests who we service,” said Jacky Gaddis, owner of First Choice Properties. “Our culture and values are well aligned with those of WesternTrust. They bring a wealth of expertise and specialized skills to the table, and are the ideal partner for First Choice. WesternTrust absolutely offers the right experience and capabilities to offer best in class service and grow the business. I will remain as the managing broker for First Choice and I am looking forward to the future.”
Written arguments between the town of Snowmass Village and the Krabloonik dog-sledding operation were filed last week in a ramp-up to a key hearing in the coming months.
