Rotary Club of Snowmass Village awards grants to valley nonprofits

The Rotary Club of Snowmass Village has awarded more than $37,000 in grants to 17 nonprofit organizations serving communities in the Roaring Fork Valley. The club raises the funding during its annual Wine Festival held in Snowmass Village each September. The organizations serve a wide range of issues including environmental, health and wellness, youth and legal services. The organizations receiving grants are: Alpine Legal Services, Aspen Hope Center, The Art Base, Aspen Youth Center, Bridging Bionics, The Buddy Program, Challenge Aspen, Christmas Wish Foundation, HomeCare & Hospice of the Valley, Junior Achievement of the Roaring Fork Valley, Little Red School House, Project 18, Roaring Fork Conservancy, Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers, Windwalkers EAL and Therapy Center, YouthEntity and YouthZone.
