Photos: Snowmass-Wildcat Fire Protection District starts demolition of old station
It’s out with the old, in with the new at the Snowmass-Wildcat Fire Protection District.
The $17 million project became a reality in November when Snowmass voters gave the Fire District approval.
Site demolition commenced on May 23 with a groundbreaking ceremony. Demolition of the building began a week later, on May 30.
Homeowners in Snowmass Village with security systems that are designed to call the local police department must apply for a new permit or face a $250 fine each time the police are called to their home.
