New optical shop now open

A new eyewear shop has opened in Snowmass Village with a display set up inside the New Belgium Ranger Station.

The rolling display of Steven Alan polarized sunglasses launched during the X Games. Alan, a New York fashion designer, launched the line in April.

“We invite customers to stop in for a slopeside cocktail and/or meal and check out the Steven Alan Optical line of sunglasses that are perfect for our multitude of sunny days here in Snowmass,” said Patrick Wasserman, Ranger Station owner.

Alan, who opened his first retail location in 1994, has 23 eponymous stores throughout the country. His collections include men’s and women’s lines, on display and for sale at the Wildwood Snowmass.
