Monday is deadline for Snowmass Village mayor, town council nominations

Last call for anyone who is interested in running for a Snowmass Village mayor or a council member seat in the November election: Nomination petitions must be filed with the town by 5 p.m. Monday.
There are two Town Council seats for four-year terms and one mayoral seat for a two-year term.
Candidates must be a resident of Snowmass Village for at least one year before the election date, 18 years of age and a registered voter.
Packets may be picked up from Town Clerk Rhonda Coxon at Snowmass Town Hall (130 Kearns Road).
