Meet Snowmass Town Council for ‘Get the Scoop’ before group photo Thursday

Before the final free concert of the summer kicks off Thursday, the Snowmass Village Town Council will host “Get the Scoop” at Fanny Hill beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Members of Town Council will offer free ice cream and be available to discuss any topic of interest. All are invited meet with the council, ask questions and provide feedback directly while enjoying ice cream.

During intermission of the concert, Snowmass Tourism invites community members to gather on Fanny Hill for the second annual community photo. Participation is encouraged, rain or shine.



Snowmass Tourism asks that participants wear a shirt in the color that corresponds with the decade one arrived to Snowmass. See sidebar above for color breakdown.

Snowmass Tourism Director Rose Abello said the community photo was “such fun last year, many suggested it become an annual event.”




More than 450 people appeared for the 2017 community photo, according to Abello, noting, “we hope to top that number this year.”

Thursday’s free concert will feature Gasoline Lollipops, a Boulder-based folk-meets-punk band.
