Letter: To the graduates

Markey Butler

Congratulations from everyone in Snowmass Village. All of us in the town send the following message:

We are sending you a day full of sunshine, a heaven filled with rainbows, and a pocket full of dreams. May the future ahead of you be as wonderful as you are!

Never think of graduation as your last hurdle in life. It is only the first small hurdle you will cross. There will be many more hurdles in your life, but only you can choose the path on “how best” to finish. Be true to yourself! Live each day as if it were your last day of life!

Always know that this is your home. We have watched you grow up and mature into amazing young women and men.

Best wishes and Godspeed as you walk into the unknown, but rewarding pathways of life.

Markey Butler

Mayor, Snowmass Village
