Letter: Columnist making problem worse

So, the council picks a manager, and Blumenthal picks a fight. Yes, the town has some big problems to solve, thanks to some earlier councils that did not have the moral fiber to put their own financial gain aside and force the developers to do something sensible. One of the first steps in solving problems is mending fences — old Western axiom; not ripping them up. Snowmass does not need a part-time resident making problems bigger than they are. If this guy had the best interests of the town at heart, instead of playing the big-shot know-it-all, he’d be working quietly behind the scenes to help create some teamwork. It was done that way for a long time. It can work. Leave your ego out of it.
