Fire calls, Nov. 9-15
The Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following calls from Nov. 9 through 15.
November 9
Fire alarm at a home on Pine Lane. The alarm system was activated by dust from a shop vacuum being used in the mechanical room.
Fire alarm at the Aspen Skiing Co. vehicle maintenance facility. Skico was contacted and they stated that there were no fire or smoke conditions at the building.
Fire alarm on Commons Circle. The system was activated by a cooking error.
Fire alarm at the Crestwood Condominiums. The system was activated by a cooking error.
November 10
Fire alarm at the Seasons Four Condominiums. The alarm system was activated by steam from a shower.
Fire alarm at the Viceroy Snowmass. The alarm system was activated by construction dust.
November 11
Fire alarm at the Seasons Four Condominiums. The alarm system was activated by steam from a shower.
November 13
Fire alarm at the Stonebridge Inn. The alarm system was activated by a possible system malfunction as no smoke or fire conditions were found.
Fire alarm at the Timberline Condominiums. The alarm system was activated by steam from a shower.
Krabloonik, Snowmass exchange arguments leading up to eviction hearing
Written arguments between the town of Snowmass Village and the Krabloonik dog-sledding operation were filed last week in a ramp-up to a key hearing in the coming months.
