The Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following calls from June 30 to July 6.

June 30



Automatic fire alarm at a residence on Stellar Lane. The alarm was caused by a system malfunction.




July 1

Medical call to 2831 Brush Creek, the Snowmass Recreation Center tennis courts, for a person suffering from a leg injury. One person was evaluated and refused transportation to the hospital.

Fire call to a home on Oak Creek Road for a structure fire. A fire was located in the wall behind the barbecue and extinguished.

Carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Stanton Lane. The cause of the alarm was a detector malfunction.

Medical call to the fire station at 5275 Owl Creek Road for a person who had walked in following a bicycle accident. One person was evaluated and refused transportation to the hospital.

Medical call to the fire station at 5275 Owl Creek Road for an intoxicated person who walked in seeking medical care. One person was evaluated and refused transportation to the hospital. They were released to the Snowmass Village Police Department.

July 2

Medical call to a home on Wood Road for a person suffering from a lower leg injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Automatic fire alarm at a residence on Creek Lane. The alarm was caused by someone replacing the batteries.

Medical call to 2831 Brush Creek Road, the rodeo grounds, for a person suffering from a head injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

July 3

Fire call to a home on Faraway Road for a gas alarm. No hazards were detected, and the alarm was reset.

Automatic fire alarm at a residence on Carriage Way. The alarm was caused by a cooking error.

Medical call to Elbert Lane for a person who was unconscious. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

July 4

Fire call to a residence on Carriage Way for a reported gas odor. The incident was turned over to Source Gas.

Standby for the Aspen Volunteer Fire Department while it was in the Fourth of July parade in Aspen.

July 5

Automatic fire alarm at 400 Wood Road, the Crestwood Condos. The cause of the alarm was a system malfunction.

Medical call to the vicinity of 2761 Owl Creek Road for an accident involving a car and a bicycle. No patient contact was made. The patient transported themselves to the hospital for medical care.

Medical call to Snowmass Sports for a person suffering from a head injury. One person was evaluated and refused transportation to the hospital.

Fire call to the lake in Wildcat Ranch to stand by for potential wildland fires during a fireworks display.

Medical call to 73 Wood Road, the Base Village garage, for an intoxicated person requesting medical aid. The response was canceled by the Snowmass Village Police Department.

July 6

Automatic fire alarm at 60 Fall Lane, the Sonnenblick Condominiums. The alarm was caused by a cooking error.

Automatic fire alarm on 35 Lower Woodbridge at the Seasons Four Condominiums. The alarm was caused by a cooking error.

Automatic fire alarm at a residence on Popish Road. The alarm was caused by a system malfunction.
