The Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following calls from June 2 through 8.

June 2

Automatic fire alarm at 100 Elbert Lane, the Westin hotel. Construction dust activated a smoke detector.

Mutual aid requested by Carbondale Fire to help search for a missing kayaker on the Crystal River.

Medical call to the Snowmass Mall Roaring Fork Transportation Authority bus stop to evaluate an intoxicated person. No transport was required, and the person was released to the Snowmass Village Police Department.

June 3

Mutual aid requested by Carbondale Fire to help search for a missing kayaker on the Crystal River.

June 4

Automatic fire alarm at a residence on Faraway Road. The cause of the alarm was the testing of the alarm system.

June 5

Medical call to a residence on Brush Creek Road for a person suffering from a neck injury. One person was evaluated but refused transportation to the hospital.

June 6

Medical call in front of 2835 Brush Creek Road at the Ragnar tent for a person feeling sick. One person was evaluated and refused transportation to the hospital.

Automatic fire alarm at Club Commons Circle. The cause of the alarm was a cooking error.

June 7

Medical call to a residence on Brush Creek Lane for a person suffering from poisoning. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

June 8

Automatic fire alarm at a residence on Lower Woodbridge Road. The cause of the alarm was smoke from a fireplace that came out into the living space.
