The Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following calls from July 21 through 26.

July 21

Medical call to 425 Wood Road for a person who had fainted and fallen. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Medical call to 401 Wood Road, the Snowmass Mountain Ranger pickup point near the gondola, for a person suffering from a fractured arm. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Odor investigation at a home on Pine Lane. The odor was caused by exhaust from a generator at a private party.

July 22

Automatic fire alarm at a home on Edgewood Lane. The alarm was caused by shower steam.

Automatic fire alarm at 26 Commons Circle, Building 1. The alarm was caused by construction dust.

Automatic fire alarm at a home on Meadow Road. The alarm was caused by a system malfunction.

July 23

Wildland-fire assignment to Craig. Patrol 71 was deployed with three firefighters.

Mutual aid requested by Aspen Fire to Sardy Field. The response was canceled.

Medical standby at the rodeo. No injuries occurred.

July 24

Mutual aid requested by the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office for a swift-water rescue team to assist with a search in Snowmass Creek.

Mutual aid requested by Basalt and Rural Fire Protection District for medical calls.

Medical call to Fanny Hill for a person who had slipped and fallen and was suffering from a possible fractured leg. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Automatic fire alarm at 73 Wood Road, Base Camp Bar & Grill. A smoke machine in the club activated the alarm system.

Medical call to 130 Wood Road, the Viceroy, for a person suffering from a stroke. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

July 25

Automatic fire alarm at a home on Bridge Lane. The alarm was caused by a system malfunction.

Mutual aid requested by Mountain Rescue for a paramedic to respond to Margy’s Hut. The patient was flown out via Flight for Life.

Automatic fire alarm at 400 Wood Road, the Crestwood Condominiums Beech building. The alarm system was caused by someone maliciously activating a pull station.

Medical call to the fire station at 5275 Owl Creek Road for a person suffering from extremely high blood pressure. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Automatic fire alarm at 150 Carriage Way. The alarm system malfunctioned due to an electrical short circuit caused by water.

Medical call to a home on Spruce Ridge Drive for a person who was feeling weak and dizzy. One person was evaluated and refused transportation to the hospital.

Fire call to 55 Upper Woodbridge Road, the Snowmass Mountain Condos, for an odor investigation. No detectable odors were found.

July 26

Mutual aid requested by the Aspen Ambulance District for a person who had fallen in front of 455 Rio Grande Place and was suffering from a head injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Mutual aid requested by Aspen Ambulance for a person suffering from chest pain near 228 E. Cooper Ave. One person was evaluated but refused transportation to the hospital.

Medical call to Brush Creek Lane for an intoxicated person. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Citizen assist to a home on Terrace Drive. Crews replaced a battery in a smoke detector on a vaulted ceiling.

Automatic fire alarm at 690 Carriage Way. The alarm was caused by a cooking error.
