The Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following calls from July 20-26.

July 20

Gas alarm at a home on Ridge Road. The alarm system was activated by floor stripper.



July 21

Elevator alarm at the Lichenhearth Condominiums. Nothing found on scene. All elevators operating normally with no one in them.




Fire alarm at a trash room in the Top of the Village Condominiums. The alarm system was activated when some employees knocked the detector off the ceiling while working in there.

Medical call to Brush Creek Road for a vehicle versus bicyclist. One person was evaluated for injuries and refused transportation to Aspen Valley Hospital.

July 22

Medical standby at the Snowmass Rodeo. No calls.

July 23

Medical call to a home on Faraway Road for a person suffering from shortness of breath. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to a home on Harlston Green for a person pinned between a lawn mower and a tree. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Burnt Mountain Drive. The alarm system was accidentally activated.

Fire alarm at 35 Lower Woodbridge Road. The alarm system was caused by smoking materials.

July 24

Mutual aid requested by Aspen Ambulance District for a medical call on East Hyman Street for a person suffering from a possible stroke. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Fire alarm at Bia Hoi. The alarm system was activated by steam from cleaning the grill.

July 25

Mutual aid requested by Aspen Ambulance for a medical call on Mountainview Drive for a person feeling sick. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to Fanny Hill at Wood Road to rendezvous with the Snowmass Mountain Rangers to pick up a person suffering from a shoulder injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to Fanny Hill at Wood Road to rendezvous with the Snowmass Mountain Rangers to pick up a person suffering from a shoulder injury. One person was evaluated at the scene and refused transportation to the hospital.

July 26

Medical standby at the Woody Creek Race Track. No calls.

Medical call to Government Trail at the Elk Camp Work Road to rendezvous with Snowmass Mountain Rangers to pick up a person suffering from a head injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to a home on Hidden Lane for a person feeling sick. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Fire alarm on Commons Circle. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.
