The Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following calls from Jan. 5 through Jan. 12.

Jan. 5:

Mutual-aid fire/medical call to Sardy Field for an Alert 3 private-plane crash. Firefighters assisted with the extrication of victims and transported one patient to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Fire call to 55 Upper Woodbridge Road for illegal burning in a parking lot. The fire was extinguished.

Jan. 6:

Automatic fire alarm at 35 Lower Woodbridge Road, Unit 171. The cause of the alarm was a cooking error.

Automatic fire alarm at 2348 Faraway Road. The cause of the alarm was a system malfunction.

Mutual aid requested by Aspen Ambulance to respond to the Buttermilk ski-patrol pickup point for a person suffering from rib and flank pain. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Medical call to the Treehouse ski-patrol pickup point for a person suffering from a head injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Mutual aid requested by Aspen Ambulance to respond to the Postal ski-patrol pickup point at Aspen Highlands. The response was canceled.

Automatic fire alarm at 95 Timbers Club Court, Unit K101. The cause of the alarm was a cooking error.

Flow alarm at 5880 Lake Wildcat Road. The cause of the alarm was a failed backflow preventer.

Automatic fire alarm at 70 Commons Circle, Unit 102. The cause of the alarm was a cooking error.

Rescue call at 73 Wood Road for people stuck in an elevator. The people were out upon arrival.

Medical call to Upper Woodbridge Road for an intoxicated person. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Jan. 7:

Medical call to 198 Gallun Lane, the ski-patrol pickup point, for a person suffering from neck and back pain. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Medical call to 198 Gallun Lane, the ski-patrol pickup point, for a person suffering from a possible pelvic injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Medical call to 198 Gallun Lane, the ski-patrol pickup point, for a person suffering from dizziness and an irregular heart rhythm. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Medical call to 100 Elbert Lane, the Westin, for a person suffering from nausea and vomiting. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Jan. 8:

Automatic fire alarm at 5263 Owl Creek Road, the Anderson Ranch dorms. The cause of the alarm was a possible system malfunction, as no other cause could be found.

Automatic fire alarm at 305 Gamble Way. The cause of the alarm was testing of the system during construction.

Medical call to 165 Daly Lane, the ski-patrol pickup point, for a person who was suffering from a loss of consciousness and a possible head injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Automatic fire alarm at 400 Wood Road, the Crestwood Condos, Unit 1302. The cause of the alarm was a cooking error.

Carbon monoxide alarm at 64 Beaver Court. Crews detected 1,330 parts per million of carbon monoxide in the house. Firefighters contacted Source Gas to respond to the home to determine the cause. Property management was called to find other living arrangements for the occupants. The occupants were evaluated by the ambulance personnel, and no one required transportation to the hospital. The unoccupied house was left in the care of on-scene property management and Source Gas.

Jan. 9:

Automatic fire alarm at 135 Carriage Way, Building 1, Unit 1. The cause of the alarm was a cooking error.

Medical call to Fairway Drive to follow up on a carbon monoxide call from the previous night. All people were re-evaluated, and no one was transported to the hospital.

Automatic fire alarm at 400 Wood Road, the Crestwood Condos, Unit 2112. The cause of the alarm was a cooking error.

Medical call to 105 Daly Lane, the Snowmass Clinic, for a person suffering from an ankle fracture. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Automatic aid requested to 233 E. Airport Road, Sardy Field, for an Alert Two. A plan was coming in with a medical emergency on board. The response was cancelled.

Automatic fire alarm at 400 Wood Road, the Crestwood Condos, Unit 2315. The cause of the alarm was a cooking error.

Medical call to 100 Elbert Lane, the Westin, for a person who had passed out by the mall, level bathrooms. One person was evaluated and released to the Snowmass Village Police Department.

Medical call to 3745 Owl Creek Road, the town Maintenance Shop. The Snowmass Village Police Department requested that firefighters evaluate a person who had been in a vehicle accident after a fall from a second story. The person was released to the Snowmass Village Police Department.

Jan. 10:

Medical call to 115 Daly Lane for a person who was bleeding. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Medical call to the Gallun Lane ski-patrol pickup point for a person suffering from a lower-leg injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Automatic fire alarm at 306 Edgewood Lane. The cause of the alarm was a cooking error.

Medical call to 100 Elbert Lane for a person suffering from flu symptoms. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Jan. 11:

Medical call to the Timbers Club ski-patrol pickup point for a person suffering from a possible fractured lower leg. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Mutual aid requested by Aspen Ambulance to respond to 506 Justice Expressway for CPR in progress on Aspen Mountain. Crews were cleared by Medic 94 while on scene.

Medical call to 105 Daly Lane, the Snowmass Clinic, for a person suffering from abdominal pain. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Mutual aid requested by Aspen Ambulance to respond to 233 E. Airport Road, the Sardy Field operations facility, to stand by for additional calls while it was busy on other calls.

Fire call to 83 Grouse Lane, Unit C3, for a smell of gas. Responders investigated the odor, evacuated the unit, shut off the gas, opened up the unit and the two adjacent units, and called Source Gas.

Medical call to 300 Carriage Way, the Stonebridge Inn, for a person suffering from vomiting. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Jan. 12:

Automatic fire alarm at 52 Commons Circle, Unit 204. The cause of the alarm was shower steam.

Medical call to Brush Creek Road above the roundabout for a single car rollover. Nothing was found.

Medical call to the Gallun Lane ski-patrol pickup point for a person suffering from a shoulder injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Automatic fire alarm at 70 Commons Circle, Unit 202. The cause of the alarm was a cooking error.
