Fire calls, Dec. 1-7

The Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following calls from Dec. 1 through 7.

Dec. 1

Carbon-monoxide alarm at a home on Edgewood Lane. No detectable levels of carbon monoxide were found.



Carbon-monoxide alarm at a home on Pine Crest Drive. The alarm was accidentally activated.

Medical call to 40 Fall Lane for a person in cardiac arrest. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.




Dec. 2

Fire alarm at 400 Wood Road, the Crestwood Condominiums Birch Building. The alarm was activated by construction dust.

Dec. 3

Medical call to the intersection of Brush Creek Road and Divide Drive for a vehicle rollover. One patient was evaluated at the scene and refused transportation to the hospital.

Dec. 4

Fire alarm at 70 Commons Circle. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

Medical call to 84 Carriage Way, the gondola pickup location for a person requiring medical aid. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Mutual aid requested by the Aspen Ambulance District to standby for additional calls.

Dec. 5

Medical call to 198 Gallun Lane, the Ski Patrol pickup location, for a person suffering from a back injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to 198 Gallun Lane, the Ski Patrol pickup location, for a person suffering from an arm injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to 239 Snowmass Club Circle for a person who had fainted. One patient was evaluated at the scene and refused transportation to the hospital.

Fire alarm at 105 Daly Lane, the Snowmass Clinic. No smoke or fire conditions were found.

Fire alarm at a home on Wood Road. The alarm system was set off by smoke from the fireplace.

Dec. 6

Medical call to 5275 Owl Creek, the fire station, for a person who had come in requesting that their blood pressure be checked. One patient was evaluated at the scene and didn’t need any further treatment.

Medical call to 105 Daly Lane, the Snowmass Clinic, for a person suffering from a back injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to a home on Valley View Road for a person suffering from shortness of breath. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Fire alarm at a home on Wood Road. The alarm system was activated by a system malfunction. The home was turned over to property management.

Dec. 7

Fire alarm at 400 Wood Road, the Crestwood Condominiums. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

Medical call to the Snowmass Clinic for a person suffering from an arm injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to 198 Gallun Lane, the ski patrol pickup location, for a person suffering from injuries to their shoulder and head. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to 100 Elbert Lane, the Westin lobby, for a person having a possible seizure. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.
