The Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following calls from Aug. 25 to 31.

Aug. 25

Fire alarm at 25 Daly Lane. The alarm was activated by steam.



Fire alarm at 52 Commons Circle. The alarm was activated by a cooking error.

Fire alarm at 28 Snowmass Village Mall. The alarm was activated by a system malfunction. The incident was turned over to property management.




Aug. 26

Fire alarm at 60 Fall Lane. The alarm was activated by a cooking error.

Fire alarm at a home on Stellar Lane. The alarm was caused by a system malfunction. No hazards were found at the scene. Property management was on scene trying to fix the issue.

Aug. 28

Mutual aid requested by Aspen Ambulance District to stand by at 43 Sage Way for additional calls in its district while it was busy.

Mutual aid requested a second time by Aspen Ambulance to stand by at 43 Sage Way.

Medical call to 5275 Owl Creek Road, the fire station, for a person who came in with chest pain. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Aug. 29

Fire alarm at 105 Burlingame Lane, the Shadowbrook Condominiums. The alarm was activated by a cooking error.

Fire/medical call to the intersection of Owl Creek and Brush Creek roads for a rollover accident. Firefighters extricated four uninjured people from the vehicle.

Medical call to 130 Wood Road, the Viceroy, for a person suffering from a seizure. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Fire call to 35 Lower Woodbridge, the Seasons Four Condominiums, for an explosion. A gas buildup in the fireplace blew out the glass. No one was injured. The gas was shut off to the fireplace.

Fire call to 5263 Owl Creek Road, the photography studio at the Anderson Ranch Art Center, for a strange smell. The smell was possibly coming from a leaking boiler. The incident was turned over to on-site staff.

Aug. 30

Fire alarm at 690 Carriage Way, the Timberline Condominiums. The alarm was activated by a cooking error.

Medical call to a home on Bridlepath Lane for a person who was unconscious after falling down the stairs. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Medical standby at the Jazz Aspen Snowmass concert grounds.

Fire alarm at 35 Upper Woodbridge, the Woodbridge Condominiums. The alarm was activated by a system malfunction.

Aug. 31

Fire alarm at 400 Wood Road, the Crestwood Condominiums. The alarm was activated by a cooking error.

Medical call to 130 Kearns Road to rendezvous with search and rescue to receive a mountain biker with a possible broken ankle. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

Medical call to a home on Elk Ridge Lane for a disturbance. Crews assisted the Snowmass Village Police Department with the incident. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.
