Fire calls, Aug. 10-16

The Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following calls from Aug. 10-16.

August 10

Medical call to the Funnel Work Road at Tower 13 to meet up with the Snowmass Mountain Rangers on the Viking Trail to pick up a patient who fell while biking and was suffering from back pain. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to the intersection of Brush Creek & Meadow Roads for a person who had fallen off their bike and was suffering from a possible broken arm. One person was transported to AVH for further treatment.

Fire alarm at 5263 Owl Creek Road the Anderson Ranch dormitories. The alarm system was activated by a possible malfunction of a smoke alarm on the first floor as no smoke or fire conditions were found.

August 11

Medical call to a home on Oak Ridge Road for a person who sustained injuries when they slipped and fell. One person was transported to AVH for further treatment.

Fire alarm at the 400 Building on Deerfield Drive. The alarm system was activated by a possible malfunction as no smoke or fire conditions were found.

Carbon monoxide alarm at 600 Carriage Way. The alarm system was activated by a possible malfunction as no carbon monoxide was detected.

August 12

Fire alarm at the Public Works Department building. Crews were dispatched in error as the alarm system was in test mode.

Mutual aid requested by Aspen Ambulance District for a medical call on Gerbaz Way. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment. August 13

Mutual aid requested by Aspen Ambulance for a medical call to the Spring Café for a person who had fainted. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to the Snowmass Club for a person who was ill. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to the Snowmass Village Mall bus station for a person who was intoxicated. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

August 14

Mutual aid requested by Aspen Ambulance for a medical call to Lower River Road for a person who had fallen off their bicycle and hit their head on a rock. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

August 15

Mutual aid requested by Aspen Ambulance for a medical call at 899 Maroon Creek Road the Rotary Field for a person suffering from a possible broken ankle. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to 2831 Brush Creek Road the Snowmass Village Recreation Center Parking Lot. Engine 71 was approached by a man who asked us to check out his friend who had crashed on his skateboard. No one was seen. Friends drove the injured person to the hospital.

August 16

Medical call to 300 Carriage Way the Stonebridge Inn for a person who had fainted. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Mutual aid requested by Aspen Ambulance for a medical call at the Ute Trail Head for a person who had fallen. One patient was evaluated at the scene and refused treatment and transportation to the hospital.
