Fire calls, April 11-17

The Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following calls from April 11-17.

April 13

Flow alarm at a home on Streamside Court. The alarm system was activated by service technicians working on the system. The district was erroneously dispatched as the fire alarm system was in test mode.



Vehicle fire at the intersection of Brush Creek and Sinclair roads. A truck’s brakes were on fire. The brakes were cooled with water.

Carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Hidden Lane. The alarm system was activated when workers started up a boiler. The house was ventilated.




Fire alarm at a home on Faraway Road. Crews were erroneously dispatched as the fire alarm system was in test mode.

April 14

Fire alarm at the Commons employee housing complex. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

April 16

Fire alarm at the Crestwood Condominiums. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.
