The Snowmass-Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following calls from July 8 through 14.

July 8:

• Medical call to the top of Wood Road to rendezvous with Snowmass Mountain Rangers to pick up a person suffering from a possible fractured arm. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Automatic fire alarm at 70 Club Commons Circle, Unit 306. A cooking error activated a smoke detector.

July 9:

• Mutual aid to Aspen Fire for wildland fire. The response was canceled en route.

July 10:

• Medical call in front of 1099 Wood Road for a man who had fallen from a ladder and was suffering from multiple injuries. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Mutual aid to Aspen Ambulance at 450 S. Galena for a person suffering from head and leg injuries. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Automatic fire alarm at 239 Snowmass Club Circle, the Snowmass Lodge & Spa third floor. No cause for the alarm was found. It appears to be a possible system malfunction.

July 11:

• Automatic fire alarm at 400 Wood Road, the Crestwood Condos, Unit 2313. A cooking error activated a smoke detector.

• Automatic fire alarm at 26 Commons Circle, Building 1, first-floor hallway. Dust from a shop vacuum activated a smoke detector.

• Mutual aid to Aspen Ambulance at 233 E. Airport Road, the Airport Operations Building, to stand by while it was busy on another call.

July 12:

• Mutual aid to Aspen Ambulance at 401 Castle Creek Road to stand by for calls in its district.

• Medical call to 84 Carriage Way, Base Village, for a person suffering from a head injury. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.

July 13:

• Automatic fire alarm at 35 Lower Woodbridge Lane, Unit 188. A cooking error activated a smoke detector.

July 14:

• Medical call to 522 Pine Crest Drive for a person choking. The patient refused treatment and transportation to Aspen Valley Hospital.

• Fire/medical call to the intersection of Brush Creek Road and Meadow Road for an auto accident with possible injuries. Response was canceled.

• Medical call to 100 Terrace Lane for a person suffering from difficulty breathing. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital.
