The Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following calls from June 11 through 22.

June 11

Medical call to the bike path below the Tamarack Condominiums for a person suffering from a possible fractured arm. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.



Medical call to behind 229 Faraway Road, the Ridge Condominiums, for a person involved in a vehicle accident and having a seizure. One person was evaluated for injuries, and they refused transportation to the hospital.

Medical call to 100 Elbert Lane, the Westin Hotel, for a person suffering from a possible seizure. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.




June 12

Fire alarm at 70 Commons Circle, the Commons Employee Housing Complex. The alarm system was activated.

June 16

Carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Serviceberry Lane. The alarm system was activated by a possible malfunction, as no carbon monoxide was detected in the home.

June 17

Medical call at 300 Carriage Way, the Stonebridge Inn housekeeping department, for a person suffering from back pain. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Fire alarm at 300 Carriage Way, the Stonebridge Inn dining room. The alarm system was activated by a possible malfunction, as no fire or smoke conditions could be found.

Fire alarm at 400 Wood Road, the Crestwood Condominiums. The alarm system was activated by sheetrock dust.

Fire alarm at 70 Commons Circle, the Commons Employee Housing Complex. The alarm system was activated by smoking and burning incense in the unit.

June 18

Fire alarm at 300 Carriage Way, the Stonebridge Inn. The alarm system was activated by a possible malfunction, as no fire or smoke conditions could be found.

June 19

Automatic aid to Aspen Fire for a swift-water rescue at Stillwater. The response was canceled.

Fire alarm at a home on Deer Lane. The alarm system was activated by the failure of a valve. The home was turned over to the property manager.

June 20

Fire alarm at a home on Fairway Drive. No smoke or fire conditions were found. Firefighters helped the homeowner replace the batteries in the smoke detector.

June 21

Rubbish fire at 150 Jack Gredig Lane, the Pitkin County landfill. No smoke or fire could be found.

Medical call at 250 Highline Road for a motor-vehicle accident with unknown injuries. One person was evaluated at the scene and refused transportation to the hospital.

Medical call at a home on Meadow Road for a person who had fainted. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Illegal fire at Base Village. The natural-gas fixture was operating properly but should not have been lit.

June 22

Medical call at a home on Brush Creek Road for a person suffering from chest pain. One person was evaluated and refused transportation to the hospital.

Medical call at 2831 Brush Creek Road, the Snowmass Rodeo grounds, for standby. There were no injuries.

Medical call at 400 Wood Road, the Crestwood Condominiums, for a person suffering from knee pain. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Fire alarm at 35 Upper Woodbridge Road, the Woodbridge Condominums. The alarm system was activated by a possible malfunction, as no fire or smoke conditions could be found.
