Final Snowmass Base Village pre-sketch plan meeting on June 18

Representatives of the company that owns Base Village will respond to questions and suggestions made at two public meetings on the stalled development at a third and final meeting June 18.

The Snowmass Village Town Council, Planning Commission, and the Snowmass Acquisition Co. — the Related Cos. subsidiary that owns Base Village — have participated in a series of pre-sketch plan meetings. At the second, residents and stakeholders provided their input in small-group sessions.

During the meeting on June 18, Related will respond to the feedback it’s gotten so far.

“I’m thrilled the community has been so active in this process, and I hope Snowmass Village residents, employees, and business owners continue to engage,” said Julie Ann Woods, director of community development. “The final pre-sketch plan meeting will hopefully lay the positive groundwork for a potential future (planned-unit development) amendment process that will be responsive to the community’s feedback.”
